Una bambina e basta (“Just a Child”) is a moving and poignant wartime memoir by Lia Levi, for which I have illustrated the cover as well as a number of interior illustrations. Since it’s a work of non-fiction, I’ve worked with the author’s home archive and family photos, as well as period iconography and references, and it’s been a wonderful and moving experience.
